UK and Ireland law firm Browne Jacobson has advised The Production Factory on its strategic acquisition of Big Sky Studios.
Established in 2004, The Production Factory is an independently-owned creative production company specialising in stills and film, and provide quality content across all forms of media. The acquisition is a part of The Production Factory’s growth strategy and will bolster their presence in the creative and production services industries.
Big Sky Studios is a supplier to The Production Factory and has 15 studios across their five sites, and is Central London’s largest full-service campus for creative content and photographic productions.
The Browne Jacobson team was led by Partner Ryan Brown, who advised on corporate matters alongside Associate Miranda Foy. The team also included Partner Cat Driscoll (commercial), Senior Associates Rebecca Burge (tax), Lincoln Darlington (property), and Associate Miriam Onwochei-Garcia (employment).
Ryan Brown, Partner at Browne Jacobson, says:
“It was a pleasure to work with Lisa and The Production Factory team on this strategic acquisition, which will significantly boost their offering to clients and creatives in London. The Production Factory is a great business and I’m looking forward to seeing what The Production Factory and Big Sky can achieve together.”
Lisa Gorman, CEO at The Production Factory, says:
“We’re excited to see the impact that this acquisition will have on our ability to provide our clients with top quality creative content. It’s our first time working with Browne Jacobson and it won’t be the last. They’ve been fantastic, they pro-actively managed the process and guided us through it perfectly. We look forward to working with them in the future.”
