Browne Jacobson advises Obsequio Group on strategic expansion

UK and Ireland law firm Browne Jacobson has advised Obsequio Group (Obsequio) on its strategic acquisition of UKAS-accredited asbestos compliance specialist Environtec Limited (Environtec), expanding its services across the UK.

Obsequio is one of the UK’s leading ‘one-stop-shop' for all aspects of safety and compliance, making life easier for facilities managers and responsible persons by offering a suite of solutions across fire, security, water, energy, air quality, asbestos, environmental compliance, and electrical safety. 

Recognised by the UK Accreditation Service (UKAS), Environtec is one of the UK’s most well-regarded specialists in asbestos compliance and water hygiene. 

The deal marks a significant milestone in Obsequio’s expansion strategy, as it widens its geographical reach by establishing its first office in Scotland. The deal will also further enhance its service offering to both public and private sector clients across the UK, including NHS trusts, universities, housing associations, blue-chip companies, and facilities management specialists.
