Browne Jacobson deals win brace of top awards at Midlands Dealmakers 2023

Browne Jacobson’s award winning corporate finance team is celebrating after two of its deals won major awards at the Insider Midlands Dealmakers Awards 2023.

The UK Top 50 law firm, which operates across the UK and Ireland, was a named advisor on eight deals at the awards and picked up the ‘Deal of the Year’ award for advising leading mid-market PE investment firm, Palatine Private Equity (Palatine) on its exit from CTS Group to Oakley Capital, a ‘ complex and stand out transaction’ giving Palatine a 5.8x return on investment and ‘SME Deal of the Year’ award for advising on sale of Thomas Bow to construction materials group Breedon.

The awards ceremony which is now in its 29th year, took place last night (14 September) at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. Dealmakers is considered one of the biggest dates in the region’s corporate finance calendar and highlights the successes of some of the Midlands’ finest corporate dealmaking talent. 

These latest awards follow on from Browne Jacobson’s recent successes at the West Midlands Rainmakers Awards 2023, being named ‘Regional Adviser of the Year’ at the Real Deals Private Equity Awards and recent nomination for law firm of the year at the Unquote British Private Equity Awards 2023.
