Jenny Harrington

Jenny is an Associate in our specialist obstetric division in our Manchester office. She joined the firm in 2023 and manages a caseload of high-value, complex birth injury claims on behalf of NHS Resolution and NHS Trusts.

Jenny has extensive litigation and claims experience dealing with high value claims on behalf of insurers for over 12 years. She has worked in defendant practice for 21 years and has in-depth technical knowledge of the claims process. Jenny is a confident advocate and is experienced in successfully bringing claims to a conclusion at mediation.

Jenny brings this wealth of experience to our obstetric division, focusing on maternity, obstetric and the Early Notification scheme (EN). The EN scheme is a national programme for the early reporting of maternity incidents for babies who are born with a potential brain injury following labour.

Jenny has a particular interest in supporting neurodiverse claimants in the claims process and recently organised and a neuro-diverse friendly RTM, successfully bringing the claim to a conclusion.
