Leading UK and Ireland law firm Browne Jacobson has announced the addition of Scott McKittrick as Partner its growing Private Client team in Nottingham.
Scott joins the firm from Freeths, where he headed up the Trusts, Estates and Tax team in their Nottingham office. His areas of expertise lie in supporting inter-generational trusts, acting as a trustee, advising trustees of their responsibilities and guiding business owners with their estate planning. He is also well experienced in estate administration (including cross-border estates), Wills and inheritance tax issues.
Scott joins the team at a time of continued growth for the firm’s private client offering, with his appointment enhancing the team’s ability to provide a quality bespoke service for its substantial client base. He will be one of the firm’s leading figures on private client matters including succession and estate planning, wills and probate services, tax and trust advice, and matters concerning the appointment of deputies and granting powers of attorney.
