Partner named at the Rising Stars Awards EMEA 2022

Intellectual property partner Giles Parsons has been named as one of Europe’s ‘Rising Stars’ at the Rising Stars Awards Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) 2022. Giles, who is based in the firm’s London office, was one of only five European lawyers under 40 to be honoured in the ‘Trademark’ category.

Intellectual property partner Giles Parsons has been named as one of Europe’s ‘Rising Stars’ at the Rising Stars Awards Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) 2022.

Giles, who is based in the firm’s London office, was one of only five European lawyers under 40 to be honoured in the ‘Trademark’ category.

Organised by Euromoney Legal Media Group, The Rising Star Awards Europe recognises the professional accomplishments, advocacy and influence of legal professionals who have risen to the top of their practice areas from across Europe.

Giles who sits in the firm’s corporate manufacturing & industrial sector, specialises in intellectual property dispute resolution, including patents, confidential information, trade marks and passing off, designs and copyright. He has extensive experience advising many of the world’s leading brands in both trademark and patent disputes, representing his clients in the High Court, Patents Court, IPEC and at the IPO and EPO. In the last year he has helped Match and Tinder in a successful trade mark claim in the IPEC.

Giles is ranked as a Next Generation Partner in Legal 500 2022 - Intellectual Property: Trade Marks, Copyright and Design and is also a recommended individual in the 2022 edition of the World Trademark Review’s WTR 1000. He is also ranked as a leading practitioner in the 2022 edition of IAM Patent 1000 and ranked as a notable practitioner in Managing IP’s IP Stars 2022.
