Sophie Meehan-Green

Sophie is an associate in our Built Environment team. Sophie has spent almost all of her career working with commercial property; in particular, deals involving rural land in the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire area. She specialises in advising her clients on agricultural property matters, such as farming tenancies, grazing agreements, purchases and sales of rural land, and strategic land transactions. Sophie also acts for a number of landed estates.

As well as her experience in agricultural property, Sophie also advises local authorities and private sector clients on redevelopment matters. Sophie enjoys researching current topics and has previously prepared guidance for an official government website on pollution regulations, and the impact it could have on agricultural tenants and their businesses.

Sophie prides herself on being an approachable and helpful point of contact for her clients. She is passionate about connecting people and inclusivity and so is a member of the firm’s sports and social committee, organising numerous events throughout the year for both colleagues and clients to attend. Her focus is to ensure there is always something for everyone to enjoy.
