Felicity has a strong understanding of construction transactions and has worked for both public sector and private sector clients. Felicity advises on a variety of projects and has experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction matters.
Felicity joined Browne Jacobson as a paralegal and developed key skills in this role to contribute towards her qualifying employment. Felicity went on to undertake a secondment working with the in-house legal team of a private sector construction company, further strengthening her commercial awareness.
Felicity is able to report on all of the industry standard forms of construction contract, bespoke forms of contract, collateral warranties, appointments, performance bonds, parent company guarantees and letters of intent.
Felicity regularly represents Browne Jacobson in volunteering in the local community through the National Literacy Trust and mentoring schemes at Aston University. Felicity also supports the FAIRE (Fairer Access Into Real Experience) and REACH (Race, Ethnicity and Cultural Heritage) programmes run by Browne Jacobson.

Assisted with the drafting of an NEC form of construction contract under the CCS Framework regarding works being procured by a local authority to upgrade a train station.
School development and expansion project
Advised a multi-academy trust in respect of a development agreement and related suite of construction documents (including collateral warranties) for project valued at £2.9m.
Secondment with major international contractor
Working with the in-house legal team across a variety of construction, consultancy and facilities management projects in the UK, Europe, and the USA.
