Emmanuelle is a legal assistant in our public law team. She has experience in the provision of advice to public bodies, in legislative drafting and analysis as well as in litigation with respect to both judicial reviews and commercial disputes. Emmanuelle works with a wide array of clients, ranging from central and Welsh Government to local authorities and non-departmental public bodies. She has participated in investigations, reviewed statutory instruments and byelaws, and been involved in court proceedings (up to the Supreme Court).

Emmanuelle is an active member of the French Group at Browne Jacobson, having studied law at Sciences Po Paris, worked in the litigation department of a Paris-based commercial law firm and completed an internship at the International Chamber of the Paris Court of Appeal.

Emmanuelle is deeply interested in issues of justice, equality and discrimination. She wrote her Ph.D. dissertation on “Discriminating Democracy: Theater and Republican Cultural Policy in France, 1878-1893” (Stanford University, 2011) and taught a course at Cardiff University on “French Republics and the Politics of Difference, 1870-1981”. She is a strong supporter of Browne Jacobson’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives.
