Claire Mills

Claire is an associate in the financial and professional risk team, currently growing her specialism in professional indemnity and directors and officers claims. Claire is client focused and commercially sensitive ensuring that any strategy always holds both at the forefront.

Claire completed her training with Browne Jacobson and since qualification has become a go-to member of the professional indemnity team. Claire is instructed by insurers both in relation to policy coverage and defence work, providing pragmatic and commercial advice throughout a claim. Claire advises on a range of disputes with a particular focus on accountants and solicitors. She is based in the Nottingham office but works with clients from the financial and insurance sectors on a national basis.  

Claire is passionate about social mobility and volunteering and has been involved in a number of the firm’s literacy programmes such a reading in primary schools and the National Literacy Trust’s Words for Work.
