Chloe is dispute resolution Legal Director specialising in complex commercial disputes and contentious insolvency, with particular expertise in the energy, manufacturing and retail sectors. Chloe acts for domestic and international corporates, higher education institutions, public sector clients and charities. Chloe works closely with her clients to arrive at business-led solutions to their issues to minimise risk and maximise success.
For more than 14 years, Chloe has advised clients on all aspects of litigation and alternative dispute resolution as well as advisory work on litigation risk and avoidance. Chloe has a broad commercial practice which includes complex and high-value domestic and international contractual disputes, breach of restrictive covenants (she is the firm’s leading individual), cross border disputes, PFI and handback disputes, misrepresentation claims, breach of warranty claims, supplier/consumer disputes, company/shareholder disputes, injunctions and contentious insolvency.
Clients appreciate Chloe’s flexible and proactive approach, praising her ability to adapt to ever-changing goals and develop alternative strategies so that clients achieve the best (and most cost-effective) results. Chloe is an active member of the firm’s Community Action Committee and Social Mobility Committee. Outside of work, Chloe is a trustee to a registered charity, Phil’s Kids, which her family set up to raise funds for individuals suffering from Huntington’s Disease.

Advising a university in relation to a multimillion-pound energy dispute, providing detailed analysis of the contractual obligations, force majeure, termination options and advice on breaches.
Joint venture dispute
Acting for a local London Borough authority on a dispute with its joint venture partner in relation to a £200m regeneration scheme which included advising on the contractual mechanisms for a default/deadlock, termination and also potential insolvency considerations.
Misfeasance/antecedent transactions
Advising the joint liquidators of a group of companies (market leaders in UK commercial and utility-scale solar industry). on possible multi-million claims against the former directors and various third parties.
Restrictive covenants
Obtaining an injunction to prevent a senior employee of a global pharmaceutical company from working for a foreign competitor in breach of his restrictive covenants.
