Amy is a highly respected restructuring and insolvency partner focusing on non-contentious transactions acting for insolvency practitioners, clearing banks, asset based lenders, private equity providers, government bodies, and individuals.
Over the last 15 years Amy:
- has undertaken an 18 month secondment at a clearing bank, working alongside relationship directors to support businesses;
- specialises in ABL funding, providing advice for funders at the outset in underwriting deals, advising during funding and provisions that can be made and in collect out situations;
- has advised on 5 recent SME restructuring plans, for the company, proposed restructuring firm and plan creditors;
- specialised in administrations within the automotive sector involving complex funding arrangements, trading and restructuring for OEMs globally
Amy has been ranked as a Next Generation Partner in Legal 500 for five years and in Band 3 in Chambers for three years.

Automotive industry: Multiple trading administrations
Advising on multiple automotive trading administrations, including Broadways & Dyson and Accrofab & Bromford. Advising insolvency practitioners on the continued trading of the businesses, entering in to funding agreements with OEMs, negotiating continuance of trade and contracts for supply agreements and effecting sales of the businesses and assets in order to conclude a substantial return to the creditors of the business and ongoing supply of a global supply chain.
Grant Thornton: Funding and portfolio investments
Advising GT in the BVI regarding funding, enforcement and realisations on a number of portfolio investments in the UK involving complex tax legislation, international funds transfers and enforcement of nonco-operative debtors and advisors.
Advising stakeholders on restructuring plans
Advising stakeholders on the restructuring plans proposed by Nasmyth Group and Great Annual Savings Company Limited, the implications on the structures suggested and their subsequent rejection by the court.
Advising Interpath on a proposed restructuring plan for Majestic Bingo (Amy was instructed given her specialist knowledge and involvement in three of the four SME restructuring plans proposed and put before the courts in the last two years).

Advising the directors of a group of companies manufacturing, selling and installing luxury kitchens with over 25 showrooms across the UK, providing advice on funding and rescue packages for the implementation of a restructuring plan, and subsequent instruction by Interpath for the sale of the business.
