Alice is an Education Solicitor at Browne Jacobson, joining the firm in March 2022 and qualifying in March 2024.
Alice has been with the education team for over 17 months and is highly passionate about education law and the wider sector. Alice thoroughly enjoys contributing to a well-recognised team within the sector as well as bringing her own innovative ideas. Alice mainly works on supporting schools with disability discrimination claims and SEND appeals, as well as advising on a wide range of pastoral advice pieces such as admissions, exclusions, governance (and reviews) and complaints. Alice often leads on corporate projects such as transfers and conversions. Alice enjoys attending sector events, such as the NGA, NAHT and Optimus MAT conferences. Alice also volunteers as a school governor at a CofE school in Oxfordshire.
Alice is truly aligned with both the firm’s ethos and passion on diversity and inclusion within the legal sector and has been involved with assisting and supporting the firms charity partners. Alice is described by her team as committed, passionate and a well organised individual with a bright future as a solicitor.
