Browne Jacobson appoints Bobby Dixit as industry-aligned expert for the technology sector

UK and Ireland law firm Browne Jacobson has appointed Bobby Dixit as the firm’s industry-aligned expert for the technology sector.

Bobby brings a wealth of experience across technology, intellectual property, licensing, strategic partnerships, as well as M&A and post-merger integration in the sector, having executed on some landmark transactions.

He previously held positions in Sony’s Research and Development division, where he played a pivotal role in the initial launch of the PlayStation online platform, and later transitioned to investment banking at Mizuho Financial Group to spearhead the expansion of Mizuho’s cross-border M&A Advisory business across the globe. During his tenure, he led and executed some of the largest cross-border transactions in the technology, media and telecoms sectors.

Working closely with partner, Declan Cushley, who leads the firm’s corporate sector market group, and head of Browne Jacobson’s technology sector, partner Anthony Nagle, Bobby will bring a wealth of specialist technology sector expertise to support the firm and its lawyers in driving the technology sector strategy, which is part of the wider corporate sector strategy.

Bobby’s appointment comes at a time of growth for the firm’s offering in the technology sector, following the addition of a five-strong technology and commercial law team from EY Law.
