The requirements for Net Zero - its no April Fools

With Pellings, we discussed the current statutory framework to achieve net zero and how this is likely to evolve, and also what practical steps both public and private sector organisations can take now.

02 April 2021

This took place on Thursday 1 April 2021 and is now available on-demand. The content in this recording was correct as of the original webinar date.

In 2019 the UK was the first major economy to pass a law requiring net zero emissions by 2050. Since then the conversation about net zero and how to reach it has gained momentum, especially with the emphasis on a ‘green recovery’ from a Covid-19. Browne Jacobson has been helping to lead the discussion on net zero.

In this on-demand video we have partnered with Pellings, part of the RSK group (the award winning multi-disciplinary design, property and construction consultancy) to discuss not only the current statutory framework to achieve net zero and how this is likely to evolve, but also what practical steps both public and private sector organisations can take now.

Topics include:

  • Net Zero - A look at the current statutory framework and how this is likely to evolve
  • Net Zero – Stand and deliver
