Roland is the head of our retail, consumer and logistics sector. He has spent more than 25 years working predominantly in the retail and leisure sectors and working with large property portfolio owners. Roland is individually ranked for his expertise in Legal 500 and also forms part of the Tier 1-ranked real estate team at Browne Jacobson.
Roland has advised major retailers over a number of years on their expansion programmes as well as the active management of their portfolios. He has a particular reputation for innovation service delivery having supported a number of clients in a transition to the structured delivery of legal services in the sector.
Roland has also worked in the past 10 years for an increasing number of public sector bodies, including key government departments and local authorities, on modernising their portfolios and on adopting processes for the active management of their property holdings.
Individually involved in large mixed-use regeneration projects and with exposure to AI technologies, the automotive industry and education, Roland has a broad scope of relevant experience to draw upon.
Roland is a committed supporter of state education having worked as a school governor in the sector for more than 10 years.
