Browne Jacobson’s corporate deal making team is celebrating after one of its deals won the ‘International Deal of the Year’ category at the delayed 2020 Midlands awards.
The winning transaction was the management buy-out (MBO) of Dimensions Clothing. The firm’s Nottingham corporate finance and banking teams advised management and Newco on the successful LDC backed £50m buyout of the corporate apparel business of US-based Tailored brands, Inc (NYSE: TLRD). The advisory team included partners, Gavin Cummings, Richard Cox, legal director, Beth Dowson, senior associates, Sandra Wong and Melanie Hilton, and associate, Sian Harrison.
In addition, the firm were shortlisted for ‘Corporate Law Firm of the Year’ and two of its deals were shortlisted in ‘Deal of the Year’ category - the sale of Easy Autocentres and the MBO of Bespoke Health and Social Care.
